At Gausevak Foundation Inc, we honor and protect cows who have been like mothers to us throughout history. These gentle creatures give endlessly—providing nourishment, comfort, and care—often without complaint, even when faced with neglect or harm. Our organization is committed to returning that kindness by rescuing cows in need and offering them safe shelter, proper nutrition, medical care, and compassionate support.
We believe protecting cows is a responsibility that benefits not only the animals but also our communities and the environment. Through education, rescue efforts, and community engagement in both India and the United States, we work to promote respect and compassion for these sacred beings. Our goal is to ensure every cow lives with dignity, health, and peace.
WHAT WE DO
Caring for Our Gentle Mothers
At Gausevak Foundation Inc, we are devoted to protecting and caring for cows—gentle mothers who have nurtured life selflessly throughout history. Many shelters and care centers face financial challenges, putting these animals at risk of neglect, separation from their calves, or worse.
As Gau Sevaks, we personally visit shelters, farms, temples, and spiritual organizations across India and the United States to see where help is needed most. We provide shelter, nutritious food, medical care, and compassionate treatment, always honoring the natural bond between mothers and calves.
Through our work, we also aim to inspire communities to live in harmony with all living beings, fostering respect, compassion, and dignity for cows and the environment. By standing together in seva, we protect these gentle mothers and their young, creating a more compassionate world for all.
Our Nonprofit Status
Gausevak Foundation Inc is a registered nonprofit organization in the United States, dedicated to the care and protection of cows. We are currently in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the IRS.

At this time, contributions go directly toward the care and support of cows, but they are not tax-deductible until our application is approved. Once we receive approval, we will notify our supporters so that future donations may qualify as tax-deductible.
